What It’s All About:
An experiential format dedicated to premium cheese, storytelling and curated tastings.
Date-a-Cheese 2026 — is an international food festival celebrating cheese paired with palm dates (a tribute to UAE heritage), including:
- A Guinness World Record attempt for the most cheese varieties displayed in one place.
- A public cheese-tasting experience.
- Competitions like “The Art of Serving Cheese Awards” highlighting creativity and innovation by chefs, restaurants, and caterers.
It’s tied to the broader Gulfood ecosystem (the big global food trade fair in Dubai) and gives cheese lovers a unique experience around gourmet cheeses and food culture.
Prima Class will participate with a focus on networking, sourcing, and connecting artisanal and specialty cheese producers with buyers across retail, distribution, and HoReCa.
We will engage closely with cheesemakers to identify high-quality, differentiated cheeses and evaluate their readiness for the UAE and GCC markets, considering regulatory, positioning, and channel requirements. At the same time, we work with buyers to curate portfolios that meet evolving consumer demand for authentic, premium, and provenance-led cheese offerings.
We support market entry and expansion strategies, helping brands identify the right partners, positioning, and routes to market for sustainable growth in the UAE and GCC.
